Powerhouse Ballerina, Misty Copeland
Do that ballerina body good and eat more
GREEN vegetables! They will give you unstoppable energy to power through class.
Some of the grooviest greens: spinach, lettuce, broccoli, avocado, green peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and asparagus!
GREEN IDEAS:
-Try adding spinach to WHATEVER you are already eating... Stuff it into your sandwich, mix it into pasta, toss onto a pizza slice!
-Make lettuce the star of the show in a bright and colorful salad. Top with the most divine dressing you can get your paws on.
-Take a potato peeler or cheese grater to a zucchini (longways) and create ZOODLES! Cold or cooked, mix with your favorite sauce!
-Dip green peppers, broccoli and cucumber in a delish black bean dip, hummus, or salsa. OR put that avocado to good use as guacamole (see below!)
